Matt Frewer has recently been seen in theaters playing ʻMitchʼ in Seth Rogenʼs 50/50 and 'Moloch the Mystic' in Zack Snyderʼs Watchmen. He also appeared in Snyderʼs Dawn of the Dead remake, and indie feature Frankie & Alice with Hale Berry. Previously, Frewer was seen as Rick Moranisʼ neighbor in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and as a nefarious computer genius in Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace
In addition to his film roles, Frewer will always be remembered for his groundbreaking work in creating the pop-culture icon “Max Headroom.”
Other television credits include “Eureka,” “Intelligence,” and “Doctor, Doctor.” He also starred as Sherlock Holmes in several made-for-television movies and mini- series for Syfy in Alice, Pestilence in Supernatural and in Bag of Bones opposite Pierce Brosnan, Melissa George and Jason Priestley.
Frewer has made guest appearances on series such as “St. Elsewhere,” “Miami Vice” and “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” He also appeared in the PBS American Playhouse presentation “Long Shadow,” the Stephen King miniseries “The Stand” and the miniseries “Kissinger and Nixon,” as Alexander Haig.
He currently lives in Canada, is a spokesman for the Rainforest Action Network, and loves to play Hockey in his spare time.
